The paper describes two schemes, together with architectures, for the resource-efficient parallel computation of twiddle factors for the fixed-radix version of the fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm. Assuming a silicon-based hardware implementation with suitably chosen parallel computing equipment, the two schemes considered provide one with the facility for trading off the arithmetic component of the resource requirements, as expressed in terms of the numbers of multipliers and adders, against the memory component, as expressed in terms of the amount of memory required for constructing the look-up tables (LUTs) needed for their storage. With a separate processing element (PE) being assigned to the computation of each twiddle factor, the first scheme is based upon the adoption of the single instruction multiple data (SIMD) technique, as applied in the ‘spatial’ domain, whereby the PEs operate independently upon their own individual LUTs and may thus be executed simultaneously; the second scheme is based upon the adoption of the pipelining technique, as applied in the ‘temporal’ domain, whereby the operation of all but the first LUT-based PE is based upon second-order recursion using previously computed PE outputs. Although the FFT radix and LUT level (where the LUT may be of either single-level or multi-level type) may each take on arbitrary integer values, we will be particularly concerned with the radix-4 version of the FFT algorithm, together with the two-level version of the LUT, as these two algorithmic choices facilitate ease of illustration and offer the potential for flexible computationally-efficient FFT designs. A brief comparison of the resource requirements for the two schemes is provided for various parameter sets that cater, in particular, for those big data memory-intensive applications involving the use of long (with length of order one million) to ultra-long (with length of order one billion) FFTs.

This paper explores the innovative use of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)'s demand sensing and statistical model to enhance demand forecasting accuracy, reduce inventory levels, and improve the overall efficiency of the supply chain. Through a real-world case study, we demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach and provide quantitative data, visualizations, and tables to support our findings. The proposed method shows significant potential in revolutionizing traditional supply chain management practices.

This study challenges long-held assumptions about the function of pyramidal structures by presenting multidisciplinary evidence from the Bosnian Pyramid Complex in Visoko, Bosnia-Herzegovina. Contrary to the conventional interpretation of pyramids as funerary monuments, this research suggests that these structures were deliberately designed as energy machines, amplifying natural electromagnetic fields, generating focused energy beams, and exhibiting geometric and material properties that defy natural formation. Through satellite imaging, LiDAR analysis, archaeological excavation, field measurements, Monte Carlo simulations, and comparative studies with global megalithic sites, this article explores the hypothesis that the Bosnian pyramids were part of a technologically sophisticated prehistoric infrastructure. Findings include: true north orientation to within 12 arc seconds, organized concrete-like construction blocks, electromagnetic and ultrasound emissions at 28.5 kHz, and geometric site planning consistent with sacred geometry and the golden section. These converging lines of evidence suggest intentional design for energy generation, positioning the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun as a case study in re-evaluating ancient technological capabilities.

Parkia timoriana (DC.) is from the Fabaceae family. It is native to the Northeastern Indian states. The plant is of high commercial importance. Decoctions of bark, fruit, and leaf parts are used to treat various diseases. Right from flowers and tender pods to mature seeds of this plant are edible, provide a good source of nutrients, and fetch a high market price during particular seasons. The plant has been reported to possess antioxidant, α-glucosidase and α-amylase inhibitory properties, antibacterial, antidiabetic, antiproliferative, and insecticidal effects.

Voltage sags are a frequent power quality issue that causes the root mean square (RMS) voltage to decrease from 10 milliseconds to 1 second. Even a slight drop can lead to serious problems, including equipment malfunctions, process interruptions, and financial losses. Therefore, timely and accurate detection of voltage sags is crucial to ensure system reliability and minimize potential damage. In this paper, we will review various voltage sag detection methods, including peak voltage detection, conventional d-q transform, discrete Fourier transform (DFT), wavelet transform (WT), Monte Carlo simulation, digital prolate spheroidal window (DPSW), and virtual positive sequence sag detection (VPS²D). Each method's implementation complexity, detection time, accuracy, and strength will be evaluated, even when harmonics and noise are present.

Auditing the compliance of cybersecurity processes, regulations, requirements, and policies in the navigation sector is a real challenge. The number of interdependencies and the stakeholders in the new navigation systems make the processes truly complex, and the increasing trend in subcontracting big parts of a system hides some of those interdependencies and other details in a huge number of assets and other regulatory and legal documentation obliges the auditors to become archeologists to assess the cybersecurity status. In this article, the authors introduce the experience of cybersecurity audits in the navigation sector within the ground control segment (GCS) andexplain some of the factors that contribute to the complexity of this activity.
